public enum TextOverflow extends Enum<TextOverflow>
CSS text-overflow property values for handling overflowed text.

The text-overflow property specifies how overflowed content that is not displayed should be signaled to the user. It is commonly used with overflow: hidden to create truncated text with ellipsis.

Overflow Values:

  • clip: Text is clipped at the edge (default)
  • ellipsis: Clipped text shows "..." to indicate more content

Usage:


 element.setTextOverflow(TextOverflow.ELLIPSIS);
 truncatedText.setTextOverflow(TextOverflow.CLIP);
