Domain-Based

Each license covers specific production domains. Local development (localhost, 127.0.0.1) and staging environments (.internal) are always free.

No per-seat restrictions. Your entire team can use Oorian with a single domain license.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a domain?

A domain is your production URL (e.g., myapp.com, api.mycompany.io). Subdomains of the same root domain count as one domain. Local development environments (localhost, 127.0.0.1) and internal staging domains (.internal, .local) are always free.

Can I upgrade my license later?

Yes! You can upgrade your license tier at any time. You'll only pay the difference between your current tier and the new one.

What about development and staging?

Development and staging environments are always free. Licenses only apply to production domains where your commercial application is deployed.

Is there a trial period?

The Community Edition provides full functionality for non-commercial use. For commercial evaluation, contact us for a trial license.

How is the license enforced?

Oorian uses a license file system. Your license file contains your authorized domains and is validated at runtime. The license file is digitally signed to prevent tampering.
